Fill and flatten PDF form fields

Formats: ZIPPDF

Upload a PDF and the tool scans it for AcroForm fields: text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, and signature placeholders. Not all PDFs have interactive fields — if yours was created by scanning a paper form and no OCR or field-detection pass was ever run on it, the list will be empty. You’d need to use the Edit PDF tool to add text overlays manually in that case.

Field detection and filling

Each detected field is listed with its field name, type, and current value. Click any row to focus that field in the page preview. Type into text fields or toggle checkboxes directly. Dropdown fields show the available options from the form definition — you can only select from what the form author provided, not add new values.

Flattening

When you click Flatten, all field values are burned into the page content as static text and graphics. The resulting PDF has no editable fields and cannot be re-filled without editing tools. This is what you want when submitting a form to an institution — it ensures the recipient receives fixed, final data rather than an editable form. Flattening is irreversible in the output file; the original file on your device is untouched.
