Why I Built This
Hello, I'm Gulsher Zaman — a full-stack developer and the person behind Codingtron. I built BasicApps because I kept running into the same wall every time I needed to do something simple.
Convert a PDF, resize an image, format some JSON — you'd think that's a five-second job. But every site I tried had the same routine: ad overlays, forced signups, credit card prompts just to rotate one page. And when a site did "work," your file was quietly shipped off to a server you know nothing about, run by a company you've never heard of. As a developer, I knew what that meant.
So I built my own. Over the past couple of years I've shipped 150+ tools under the Codingtron umbrella — PDF editors, image converters, developer utilities, data tools, you name it. The whole processing stack runs in your browser. Nothing ever hits a server. No uploads, no queues, no accounts. You open the tool and get the work done.
The goal is simple: desktop-grade tools that don't waste your time, don't spy on your files, and don't ask for anything in return. That's what I wanted as a user, so that's what I built.

Every tool runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing you load or process is sent to any server — there's no backend receiving your files.

Privacy First
We don't collect your files. We don't store them. We don't analyse them. Files are loaded into browser memory, processed, and cleared when you close the tab.
The site uses Google Analytics (anonymised) and Google AdSense to keep things running. Neither service ever touches your actual files. Read the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
