Rotation writes a permanent orientation change into the output file — not a viewer preference that resets on the next open. If you rotate a page 90° clockwise, it stays that way in every PDF viewer on every device.
Rotation angles
- 90° clockwise — standard fix for a page scanned on its side.
- 90° counter-clockwise — the opposite correction.
- 180° — flips the page upside down.
- Reset to 0° — removes any stored rotation in the page dictionary and forces upright display in all viewers. Useful when a PDF was rotated multiple times and you want to clear the accumulated transforms.
Page scope
All Pages applies the chosen angle to every page simultaneously. Selected Pages opens a thumbnail grid; pages are toggled individually and only those highlighted receive the rotation. Odd/Even shortcuts quickly target alternating pages — handy for duplex scans where back pages landed upside down because the feeder loaded them the wrong way.
