Compress any image format without switching tools

Most compressors only handle one or two file types, which means you end up juggling multiple tools for different jobs. This one takes PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, and GIF as input, and you can choose what format you want out. So if you have a big TIFF from your camera and need a small WebP for your website, you can do that in a single step without touching a separate converter first.

Formats you can upload

  • JPG / JPEG
  • PNG (with alpha)
  • WebP (lossy and lossless)
  • HEIC / HEIF (iPhone and iPad)
  • AVIF (AV1 Image Format)
  • TIFF (multi-page flattened)
  • BMP and GIF

Formats you can save as

  • JPG — smallest photos, no transparency
  • PNG — lossless or quantized, keeps alpha
  • WebP — best size-to-quality ratio for websites
  • AVIF — next-gen format, good browser support now
  • TIFF — archiving and print workflows
  • BMP — uncompressed for legacy software

How the quality slider affects your file size

Moving the quality slider from 95 down to 75 cuts most photo file sizes roughly in half, and you won’t see any difference at normal viewing distance. If you also need to hit a specific kilobyte target, combine compression with the resize option — a smaller resolution combined with lower quality gets you there much faster than either setting alone.
