Your SVG stays sharp at any print size
When you save an SVG as a PDF, the curves and shapes from the SVG go directly into the PDF as vector data — nothing gets turned into pixels. That means you can print it on a business card or blow it up to a billboard and it looks exactly the same either way. No blurriness, no pixelation, just clean crisp lines at any scale.
How page size is set
The PDF page takes its size from the width and height in your SVG. If your file only has a viewBox and no explicit dimensions, the coordinates map to points (1 point = 1/72 inch). So a viewBox="0 0 595 842" gives you a standard A4 page.
Fonts and text
If the text in your SVG has been converted to outlines (paths), it will look perfect in the PDF on every device and viewer. If you left it as live text, the PDF will try to use the same font — if it’s not installed on the viewer’s machine, it’ll substitute something else. The safe move is to outline your text in Illustrator or Figma before converting.
