Drag-and-drop reorder
Pages render as thumbnails in a grid. Drag any thumbnail to a new position; the rest shift to fill the gap. The sequence in the grid is the exact sequence written to the output PDF. Nothing runs on a server here — the reorder uses the PDF’s existing data in your browser; only the final download triggers a write.
Keyboard and batch controls
- Click a thumbnail to select it; Shift-click extends the selection across a range.
- Selected pages move together when dragged.
- Reverse All flips the entire page order in one action — useful for documents scanned back-to-front.
One thing to know about printed page numbers
If the original document had page numbers printed as part of the page content — the kind you can select and copy — those numbers are text elements baked into each page. Moving a page changes its position in the file but doesn’t change the number printed on it. Page 47 dragged to the front will still say “47” on screen. If you need sequential numbering after reordering, run the result through the Add Page Numbers tool afterward.
